Finished the first season of Star Trek: Prodigy.
The first episodes are the worst. Yes, it's a kid's show. Except it's not, exactly. There's the kid's show tendency to fall from great heights and bounce. But:
Of all the new Trek, it feels the most like an actual continuation of the show. The storytelling is competent. Close attention to canon while lovingly expanding same.
