Professional musicians sometimes practice playing things "in all 12 keys" this just isn't a thing on the chromatic keyboard. In many ways its more similar to a fretted Bass (the other instrument I play) where by shifting the start location and keeping the geometric pattern the same, you get the same tune in a different key.
anyway Im looking forward to the rest of the thread because tuning systems are quite interesting.
