Just to be clear:
There's a pandemic EVERY year.
Flu. Coronavirus. Rhinovirus.
And vulnerable people sometimes die from the secondary infections that result.
EVERY year.
When they say there's going to be another pandemic, it's like saying the sun is going to come up.
I know that. I'm not scared of that. Ever since we developed antibiotics and ICU care, these pandemics have NEVER been catastrophic.
Their big scary boogeyman is just the normal ebb and flow of seasonal illness.
