Fascinating! It's funny how new words sometimes feel exactly right (that one does), but of course in repeated use in a story, they will end up feeling familiar for the reader. Sometimes we just hit on while writing along.
I've a 1st person narrator who has wings and flies. She starts the story with disdain for 2D people, those who have no wings, and talks about her transition into seeing 3D world when she fledged. At first the word felt jarring, too obvious. too simple, but it ended up working.
