At 1:10:50 you give Dutch engineers (at VeloCity Montreal) too much credits. Most engineers don't know the origin of their designs, it is just too old, dating back to 1946-1947.
In 2013 Forester was invited by TU Delft for the International Cycling Safety Conference in Helmond. I campaigned against it, but couldn't prevent his talk, what turned out to be a rant against European cycling practices.
