The yearling boys run together with each other. Their moms have bitten and kicked them and otherwise broken their hearts. You think human children have it hard when a new baby arrives, well think again.
The older boys also run together, and move around a lot. The mom's hold the territory and stay put.
They are eating garden plants out of spite or starvation now, peonies, Iris, pretty much everything gets tasted.
