Police forces across the UK, have unveiled a new weapon to stop e-bikes, e-scooters and motorcycles. A DNA tagging spray from SelectaDNA, as well as DeterTech’s SmartTag, fired from a handheld canister over distances of up to 10 metres, coating riders, clothing and bikes with an invisible marker.
Why does it have to be invisible? Add bright red unremovable dye too. Thick gooey and a bit smelly! Having been hit by one of these scooters on a pavement, who didn't stop, I feel strongly about this.
