my impression of why Google Maps dies this is to eliminate scraping. If they showed you every CVS they know about in PA, not only would the list be super long (and might crash the browser), but someone could scrape it to make their own "CVS Directory".
And it's stuff like this why companies like Dunn & Bradstreet exist: so they can sell you that data.
