Perhaps a small tweak to the electoral commission rules would be in order:

* Organisations that put up candidates for election must be bona fide political parties, not companies or societies of any kind. Note: this must not affect independent candidates in any way.
* Transfer of funds from other organisations to political parties must be strictly controlled with defined limits - effectively treated as donations.

I know there will be problems and loopholes, but it's a start.
