It's incredibly disappointing to not get the support. On the other hand maybe it's a case of beware who to ask? If someone who doesn't usually read/doesn't want to make the time, wrote a review after all that you wrung out of them, it could be something you wish they hadn't written? If it's of the "it was ever so interesting, but..." variety. I don't speak from experience but I could image that some reviews just wouldn't be very useful. I hope you get great contributions!
