I'm not sure I would put it the same way; I read new testament holiness as being associated with our inseparable union with God in Christ, We are in him; he is in us; we did not make that union happen nor can anything ever separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. As our lives are conformed to this reality we will stand out, for sure; but that union is more real and necessary than any separation.
