I never knew how mentally hard it was to be an actor until I spent the last couple years occasionally applying for interesting tech jobs I'm qualified from LinkedIn.
It's an endless parade of rejection, time and time again. I have a new appreciation for people that go to auditions where 99+% of everyone is turned down, then they go and do it again the next day.
