Small scale growers where I am in England mostly grow in blocks to ensure pollination. I'm new to growing sweetcorn so I've just been following what my neighbours do.
Your posts are the first time I've seen sweetcorn grown in rows and succession planted, it's really useful to see. Sowing in clumps would help a lot on exposed sites here.
