Having a bit of a "OMG British Plumbing" afternoon. This place has this run of about 2m with pretty much zero gradient, possibly slightly reverse gradient. This leads to a triple 90° turn — through wall, short drop, then back to flat against floor where there is then pretty much another 2.5m entirely flat run. So over the years I have had to de-clog these pipes many times. I've been tempted to redo the whole thing sometimes, and I have replaced parts of it... but unfortunately redoing it to give the whole thing a proper gradient is more than I can motivate myself to deal with. (Of course, technically, this should be a landlord problem.)
Anyway, now the kitchen stinks.
I stink.
Several towels are now going straight in the bin.
If I had a bath I would be pouring myself a warm tub of mild bleach to submerge myself in.
Sitting down for a bit before dealing with scraping up all the mank from the floor and mopping.
I think that will have to do for the day, I am used up, and then some.
