I actually blame everything on Bill Gates myself. His was the first really evil squash-everyone-and-take-all-the-money company, the rest have followed the model.
The recent spate of bullshit business models I think is due to the availability of investment apps which give access to the stock markets to people who just don't have a clue; these are the real customers (products) of the all-money grabbers.
