Happy birthday to me! I turned 51 today! July 8th, 1975. Hottest day that year and steamy, at 3:38am, I was delivered and resting. The funny story around my birth is that the fetal heart monitor tracking me was old and the humidity was just right and every time a contraction would hit, my monitor would fuzz out and play a radio station getting everyone in the delivery room to laugh. I came into this life making’ them laugh and I’ll live my life making them laugh and I’ll die making them laugh.
