With Hotmail and Google (but not Yahoo), I was getting infiormation added to messages. I'd mention, in the bodytext, part of an address and that whole address would appear either in or at the bottom of the message. This was 2022, 2023, 2024.
I notice in my basic plain text editor (ESFiles) that words sometimes highlight with a faint box for "no reason". I am not copy&pasting at the time and that feature works differently. I also get delays in letters appearing when I'm typing regardless of what virtual keyboard I use.
Occassionally it's like the old Nokia T9 disagreeing with you (except I don't use predictive text).
Hotmail/Outlook is particularly bad for unwanted features and may be being used in other services without acknowledgment or permission. Google definitely does that and is everywhere via Chrome.
(Yahoo will just refuse to work for me.)
