My first thought about her group: I don’t know if self-respecting death metal groups of the past would agree to play at such an event. It’s typical of this generation that they’ll take an opportunity whenever they see it. The concept of “selling out” doesn’t exist.

On the other hand, who knows that they weren’t kind of embarrassed to play there but were doing it to support their singer.

I think it’s endearing.
