I have some standing here (Wife is a cosmetologist.) That's a cut plus color price. It takes an hour and a half to do and usually includes a therapy session. If she comes out feeling good/better about herself it's probably worth it. If it looks bad get a new person -- there are plenty to choose from.
Just be glad she doesn't want hair extensions (cost thousands)
