😡 For the first time since 2022, Russia has been awarded the right to host a major international competition in an Olympic sport.
The 2030 World Weightlifting Championships will take place in Moscow, according to the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF).
“This demonstrates that our sport is developing all over the world and that hosting our competitions is highly sought after by many countries across the globe,” said secretary general of the IWF Executive Board.
