I went to a guest lecture allegedly about Long COVID today.
It wasn't. It was about how to be a "changemaker" and create policy "moonshots" to cure neglected diseases.
All the exemplars were young, slim, white & rich, and most of them were male. Expertise in medicine, public health or research was portrayed entirely in a negative light.
I was the only person in the auditorium wearing a mask.
No mention of prevention except a very brief mention of Operation Warp Speed. No mention of access.
