I read it and can’t fault the analysis, though maybe the Brooks’ essay “No Silver Bullet” may have been a more interesting compare and contrast in these days of LLMs. Maybe not.
But a small team of four floundering would benefit from a fifth member who understood the problem and solution. Either the author was or wasn’t that person; citing Brooks to walk away seems glib and pseudo-rational.
