You shouldn't have to, the arrogant European authors adding French words in English texts without contextual cues should've, but I think there are upsides to doing so if it's not too much work. Even with clear context, as another commenter here noted, people may turn to the internet for interpretation and then who knows where they end up. I also appreciate glossaries for feeling more confident in inference from context, and for cultural context hints outside the main textual flow.
