Thinking about my own fantasy distro again.
Alpine, but with glibc instead of musl. I like apk & openrc. Alpine, but without the slop.
Got as far as stepping through linux from scratch to see what automating it’d look like, last time.
Stalled on what I’d use to script it. Was thinking Python. Maybe I’d do it in Swift or Rust now. That choice could be the next step to stall on (!).
Maybe it’s time to revisit this thing. For when after the bubble pops, or someone forks the kernel.
