Today I bought a cheese that was apparently judged the best cheese in the world last year -- Queijo de Ovelha Amanteigado, from Portugal. A soft sheep's cheese, described as very buttery.
But honestly the thing that struck me the most is how *vinegary* it is! Buttery, yeah, but also sharp and fruity at the same time. Fascinating flavor.
