Now I’ve tried the bodice on I’m less worried about the fit, though still far from certain it will suit me. The waist is high, but not so very high as I was anticipating after cutting out the pieces. I’ve decided to carry on and will only know for sure if it’s okay when everything is finished. (This is not the fault of the pattern maker, I’m a somewhat weird shape due to breast cancer surgeries, and I wear a surgical compression bra because of ongoing lymphoedema).
