You are talking about soviet/commie notions, free men don't fight and die for gov employees who under threat of death/prison rob them of their private property.

There's nothing noble about going to war or enlisting in your lord's army. It's the worst grift of all, in fact. Whitewashed killing of others, by decree. Talk about being a tool. The only thing a standing army is protecting is the monopolies of those who are not going to fight "for their countrymen."

Real men band together based on mutual interests, not career paths paid for by the central bank with promises of killing others.
