ah, yes and alder lake in between these two where intel decided not to implement avx-512 on the e cores but did have it on the p cores leaving all operating systems and applications questioning what is going on. And then the genius fix by intel of: disabling avx-512 in the p cores via bios update. They also later fused it off in new silicon revisions.
