I guarantee if these people went into a restaurant and the server threw their food in their face, or brought them something completely different they didn't want, they would act on the assumption that life damn well IS fair and they were gonna get what they paid for because "I HAVE RIGHTS!" And (if they're a boss) if an employee just announced they were going to work less for the same amount of money, "but it's OK because life isn't fair," they wouldn't accept it. These are the same fucking people who rioted because they couldn't go to Cracker Barrel for free ice tea refills during COVID social distancing.
