He's also been very inconsistent about posting financial statements & other updates. To the extent that there have been financial crises, it's explained by losing donors (sometimes because of those interpersonal issues) & rising costs.
I suspect similar things happened at the community league & that's what turned an "oh fuck, I accidentally deleted our invoice history in the account software" moment into a lawsuit.
But if that is what happened (missing receipts & an uncommunicative former treasurer not doing enough to help set the books straight), then the way the rest of the league has presented this — as missing money that suddenly puts them in a bad financial shape — is definitely problematic too.
