Finally, finally after months of waiting and many falls and illnesses and middle-of-the-night emergency phone calls and hospital visits... Dad has a place at a care home. It's the same one where Mum is and so he'll be able to spend as much time as he likes with her. Not sure exactly when he'll be able to move in but it's likely a matter of days.
Friends, the relief. It is enormous
