Everything cleaned up nicely, including the rubber bits, and got dried in the over earlier. During cleaning and drying sessions, I worked on getting the filth out of the keyboard itself and wiping it down as best I could. Not perfect, but much better.
Oddly, the one nipple that is solidly yellow is the one under the one key that yellowed: the space bar. Bizarre.
The Return key re-assembly is a pain in the ass.
