Very perceptive point! The algorithm definitely seems to create hierarchies in favour of the more high-profile people, despite the denials from Bluesky's defenders. No wonder all the high-profile folks dropped their Mastodon accounts in favour of Bluesky the first chance they got...it reminded them of Twitter. And may well remind them of it even more one day. But will they learn? Or even care?
