Yes when I visited Hawaii I noticed there were huge land reserves in private hands, just vast areas fenced off and inaccessible. Another thing is they seem to have gone all-in on the WEF agenda so meat is very pricey there since they seem to have culled all their cattle which were once abundant. Food prices alone would make me balk at ever living there unless I got a lot richer myself. That's no barrier for the oligarch class though - they just have everything flown in.
