This isn't that thing I saw a while back where some mastodon posters appeared to want a blog with comment moderation is it? Or is it something else? I struggle to understand what the serious problem is when it all seems to work fine. Maybe certain specific use cases don't work but maybe they can't work, or this is the wrong tool for the job?
But all social media, user generated content, is radically susceptible to bad actor manipulation and abuse. But that's a web issue.
