Cain Clark manifesto - Typical Trans: Antisemitic, Anti Trump, Misogynistic and Homophobic
A 75-page document allegedly authored by Cain Clark, the 17-year-old suspect in the May 18, 2026, attack on the Islamic Center of San Diego, has been recovered by law enforcement. The document, titled “The New Crusade: Sons of Tarrant”, is believed to outline the ideological motivations behind the shooting that left three people dead before Clark and his accomplice, Caleb Vazquez, died by apparent suicide. The manifesto is divided into two sections: the first 33 pages attributed to Vazquez under the title MisanthropistCEL, and the remaining 42 pages by Clark titled Death to the World. It is steeped in neo-Nazi symbolism, including the Black Sun and Atomwaffen insignia—imagery Clark wore during a livestreamed video of the attack. The text espouses accelerationist ideology, calling for the complete collapse of society and an “all-out race war.” Clark described himself as a “Christian EcoFascist” and expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler, referring to him as an ideological figurehead.
Both Clark and Vazquez idolized Brenton Tarrant, the perpetrator of the 2019 Christchurch mosque massacre in New Zealand. Clark referred to Tarrant as “Saint Tarrant” and cited his attack as a blueprint for livestreaming violence to inspire others. The manifesto explicitly encouraged the dissemination of their attack footage, with Vazquez urging followers to “Spread our message.” The document also praised other mass killers, including Anders Breivik, Ted Kaczynski, and Robert Bowers, the Tree of Life synagogue shooter.
