A week of Farsi Bitcoin lessons, and the best line came from a reply, not from me:
"Make the delivery path irrelevant." (bf4cafcd)
For Iranians that's the whole game. Google Play is unreliable, GitHub gets throttled, Telegram mirrors can be poisoned. So stop trying to find the one safe download route. Teach one habit instead: get the developer's key fingerprint through a second channel, check the signature, and then the APK can come from a USB stick, a Blossom blob or a cousin's phone. It either matches or it's a stranger.
Living in El Salvador I watch the opposite lesson play out: the state wallet came, faded, and is now in private hands. The tools that last are the ones that never needed permission.
Question for the Nostr crowd: if you had one hour with a total beginner who has never owned a wallet, which three things would you teach, in what order? I'm building the Farsi starter kit around the answers.
