Students in Gen Chem I work in groups to complete scaffolded worksheets about Recognizing & Minimizing
In Gen Chem II we have just natural science majors (Gen Chem I also has health sciences & Gen Ed students), so we have them become more independent in some lab skills. They annotate the instructions for each experiment with chemical hazards, and then they do R & M analysis once each for the 3 multiweek units
