do you ever just want to rant or discuss something about your intellectual interests (literature, tech, other nerdy endeavours) and suddenly feel guilty about hypothetically discussing it with your friends because you know none of them will get it and thus it will look like you're bragging and patronising them, and then feel guilty that you're underestimating and diminishing your friends' intellect, and then just feel really, really guilty about it all
