It commandeered Judaism for it's purpose, just as other empires have done with other religions. Germany usurped the swastika from a completely different culture and turned it into a symbol of fascism, now barely anyone knows its origins.
The problem in Palestine is that the occupation wants people to think it's a holy war when it's really just white supremacy manipulating people.
I think people should be free to practice any religion so long as it is not endangering the basic rights and freedoms of ALL life.
