One thing that’s totally clear from rereading Working in Public is that recent discussions we’ve had in the Django community aren’t Django specific at all. They’re endemic to the structure of GitHub driven open source. SO many of the descriptions fit Django exactly, but come from other projects entirely.

This is both reassuring (in that we’re not obviously off the mark) and disturbing (in that it’s not clear there’s an easy fix that fits our values).
