Have you grown elderberries from cuttings?
Did you root them in water or sand?
I picked up several elderberry 1/2 inch branches last fall at a native plant swap. Put them in a pail of water in the garage and forgot about them.
Rediscovered them yesterday.
They're budding and all have roots, except one. I took that cutting and stuck it in a pot of sand. Fingers crossed it roots.
