the movie is divisive - if you haven't seen it I'm guessing you're not a Baz Luhrmann fan. But I think it's incredible. (When I showed it to my fifteen year old son he said, jaw on the floor, "I think this is the best movie I've ever seen.") But some people are very turned off by it.

The Bowie version is used to compliment an opening voice over and it works incredibly well.
