Hmmmm. You can often get surprisingly far with very simple properties like "this code must not crash", or more mathematical ones like "this operation is commutative" or "func1 is a left-inverse of func2". Or sometimes you can extract general properties from your existing example-based tests. But this could be too much of a side-quest.
