Same ink and pen as yesterday, and a super quick drawing between games as I was gardening in the morning and then at boardgame club for the afternoon and evening. The prompt is 'acorn' and while there are a couple of oak trees closeish I'm still going with a more local tree. These seed pods are from an Allocasuarina commonly called Sheoak in Australia, and I was taught to call it Kwel by my Nyoongar teachers.

I took about 5 minutes to draw these little seed pods. They have a spiky texture, and black cockatoos are fond of them.
