As for Trump, I don't think he's subverting the existing social contract, he's doing precisely what this contract was for: it's no coincidence we mint money by issuing credit to the "trustworthy" (i.e. rich) enterpreneurs, instead of distrivuting the new money uniformly (UBI), and no coincidence we encourage the idea that an enterprise's success and profits are first due to investors, rather than the uhh, for the lack of a better word, the worker?
