#ScribesAndMakers
> 29th Aug 2026. At age 11, our TTMD guest answered 'What do you want to be when you grow up?' with 'Author.' Do you know what you wanted to be at 11?
I'm 36 and I barely know what I want to be now. Sure, there are some consistent themes that have remained for decades, but you never know when an interest is going to disappear, or arise.
Hell, there was a good 3 and a half minutes on Wednesday I was considering looking into what it'd take to establish a zen temple in my town and head it (not so much to head it, but to have one in town. Be the solution to your own problems, etc etc)
