NY Court Tosses Class-Action Against LIBRA/M3M3 Issuers
A US District Court in SDNY dismissed a class-action lawsuit vs. Hayden Davis, Kelsier Ventures, & Ben Chow (ex-Meteora CEO) over LIBRA/M3M3 token issuance. Judge Jennifer L. Rochon cited failure to prove Meteora as an "unincorporated association" for suit, insufficient RICO claims (no pattern of continuous criminal activity), and lack of evidence for fraud claims vs. Chow.
The ruling was based on procedural/evidentiary issues, not on whether market manipulation or fraud *actually* occurred. Plaintiffs' request to amend the complaint was denied. #Nostr #Crypto #Lawsuit #LIBRA #M3M3
