It is still really bad in a well lit urban street as the headlights are so bright it is hard to see past them to spot pedestrians, cyclists, and roadside obstructions.
Even worse when the road is wet and everything reflects the glare!
I don't have auto dipping rear view mirrors and so cars behind end up aiming three sets of spotlights at me.
I have been tempted to put a big mirror in my rear window, but then 'I would be the one in the wrong'. 🙄
