About Chopsticks 🍜👇
Living in China for years, I was eating breakfast, lunch and dinner using chopsticks on a daily basis (I was always proficient in using them starting at an early age thanks to my elder brother).
This made me realize that certain foods are more fun to eat (and more efficient) using chopsticks.
Now I find it difficult not to use chopsticks when eating all types of noodles, pasta and salads (ravioli needs higher proficiency use).
Eating a salad with a fork, for example, requires a lot of randomish stabbings, while using chopsticks allows you to fine tune what you pick up off the salad. A piece of lettuce here, a piece of cucumber there, a tomato in between and so forth.
Of course, some foods, in my opinion, can absolutely not be eaten with chopsticks. These include food like steaks and biryani (Basmati rice is not sticky for one thing).
However, I do take it too far and only eat chicken wings with chopsticks. I sometimes use chopsticks to try and roll a pizza slice but this is not fun and highly inefficient!
Chopsticks work best with food in a bowl as opposed to flat plates.
Good morning
